The file contains a Salient Characteristics document outlining technical specifications for a 3D printer, complemented by a Sources Sought RFI from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System. The VA seeks to purchase one 3D printer with specific requirements, including a print volume of 47 x 23.6 x 25 inches, a closed print chamber, single print head, maximum hot-end temperature of 285°C, filament run-out sensor, printing speed up to 150mm/s, semi-automatic bed tilt leveling, and an Aluminum MIC-6 build plate.

The RFI, issued under solicitation number 36C26225Q1025, is seeking market research and potential small business sources, with a response deadline of June 25, 2025. Interested vendors must provide detailed information including company details, small business status, product specifications, delivery timelines, pricing, and reference contracts. The VA suggests the MODIX BIG-120Z V4 3D PRINTER KIT with enclosure as a reference product but is open to equivalent alternatives. Respondents must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and provide comprehensive documentation demonstrating capability to meet the specified salient characteristics.
