About this file

The file contains salient characteristics for two RFID-enabled storage devices for the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration. The first is an Ultra Low Temp RFID Freezer designed to maintain -80C temperatures, with external dimensions of 78x23x38 inches and internal dimensions of 51.2x17.8x28.3 inches. Key requirements include seamless integration with TrackCore system, built-in RFID tracking, connectivity for data transfer, temperature monitoring, an electronic door lock, and adjustable shelving to accommodate various specimen sizes.

The second device is an Ambient Cabinet with external dimensions of 80x41x50 inches and internal dimensions of 65x14x24 inches per side. It must maintain an internal temperature range of 12C to 30C, integrate with TrackCore system, support RFID tracking, enable user and item movement identification, and accommodate unique device identifier barcodes. This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by Veterans Integrated Service Network 7, seeking to determine market capabilities for TrackCore-brand or equivalent RFID freezer and cabinet. Respondents are requested to provide information by 5 June 2025, with the understanding that this RFI does not guarantee a subsequent contract.
