About this file
This is a salient characteristics document specifying requirements for a combined LWIR (Long-Wave Infrared) and Corona Camera system for the Bureau of Reclamation. The document outlines technical specifications for a high-performance camera system, with the preferred brand/model being the UViRCO CoroCAM CC 8HD High Performance Daylight Corona Imaging Camera or equivalent.
The required specifications include a combined LWIR and Solar Blind UV corona camera system capable of simultaneous detection of corona discharges and hot spots, featuring a 9Hz FLIR Radiometric LWIR camera module, synchronized zoom capabilities, and a Vox Microbolometer thermal detector with a 7.5-13.5 um spectral band and -40°C to 160°C temperature range. Additional requirements include 1920x1080 pixel resolution, 14 IR color palettes, integrated LED flashlight with laser pointer, and specific UV sensitivity metrics (SB 240-280 nm at 2.05x10-18 Watt/cm2). One unit is needed by March 31, 2025, to be delivered to the Denver Federal Center in Colorado, with a one-year warranty required.
