About this file
This document is a Salient Characteristics Commercial Availability Certification for a Dual-Material Extruder Direct Ink Writing (DIW) System. The certification describes the minimum specifications required for the system, including that it must be based on a Haas Desktop Mill CNC system, have a minimum work envelope, maximum footprint and weight, and run on 110 VAC power. The system must be capable of subtractive manufacturing, direct-ink-write of viscous particulate loaded suspensions, and have the ability to deposit at least two materials through a single nozzle with controlled composition ratio. The system will be procured under Solicitation W911QX24Q0115 issued by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground for quantity two (2) Dual-Material Ceramic Printers.
