About this file
The document is a Salient Characteristics Commercial Availability Certification for a high throughput cell sorter procurement by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground. The solicitation (W911QX-25-Q-A058) seeks one (1) cell sorter with specific technical requirements, including the ability to sort mammalian cell types and nuclei, perform sorting with no sample-to-sample carryover, operate without aerosol production, and sort based on at least two fluorescence and two scatter parameters.
Key technical specifications include low-pressure sorting to maintain cell integrity, support for both bulk and single-cell dispensing, onboard temperature control (ambient to 5°C), and the capability to process eight samples in under 30 minutes. The certification, signed by Rebecca Renberg as the Technical Point of Contact, confirms that the specified characteristics are available in commercial marketplace products, indicating the government's intent to procure a commercially viable cell sorting instrument that meets precise scientific research requirements.
