About this file

This is a Salient Characteristics Commercial Availability Certification document prepared by the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) for procurement of one (1) two-channel arbitrary waveform generator (AWG). The document confirms that all specified characteristics are available in the commercial marketplace and serves as the technical requirements baseline for the related presolicitation notice (W911QX26QA190) issued by the Department of the Army Materiel Command, Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

The AWG must meet the following minimum technical specifications: 25 Giga Samples per second (GS/s) sample rate per channel; 10-bit vertical resolution for precision signal synthesis; 10 Gigahertz (GHz) analog bandwidth; Spurious Free Dynamic Range (SFDR) of -80 decibels (dBc) for spectral purity in radio frequency testing; 10 picoseconds (ps) jitter for high-speed serial and timing-sensitive applications; 32 Giga Samples of waveform memory; waveform recording length capability of 2 Giga Samples or 16 Giga Samples depending on configuration; and support for advanced waveform sequencing, loops, conditional branches, and dynamic jumps. This presolicitation notice establishes the technical baseline prior to formal solicitation release.

The Army Research Laboratory (ARL) requires one (1) two-channel arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) with the following minimum salient characteristics:

1. 25 Giga Samples per second (GS/s) sample rate per channel, enabling generation of extremely high‑frequency and high‑resolution waveforms.

2. 10‑bit vertical resolution, providing fine amplitude granularity for precision signal synthesis.

3. Analog bandwidth: 10 Giga Hertz (GHz)

4. Spurious Free Dynamic Range (SFDR): –80 decibels (dBc), enabling clean spectral purity for demanding radio frequency (RF) tests.

5. Jitter: 10 picoseconds (ps), suitable for high‑speed serial and timing‑sensitive applications.

6. Waveform memory: 32 Giga Samples, allowing long and complex waveform playback

7. Waveform recording length: 2 Giga Samples (GS) or 16 GS, depending on configuration.

8. Supports advanced waveform sequencing, loops, conditional branches, and dynamic jumps
