Salient Characteristics Sheet

Describe the requested item(s) in salient terms:

Airlift Mobility Kit is a ramp kit built to load vehicles into either C-17 or C-5. Items in this product kit should meet all requirements in AFI 11-289, AFI 24-605, and Air Transportability Test Loading Agency (ATTLA) certification.

Physical characteristics Aluminum ramp pieces with built in handles on both sides. Ramps that touch the aircraft ramps have PVC belting to prevent damage to ramps and to aircraft ramps. Approach shoring shall be aluminum. No wood components. Entire ramps and pedestal shoring kit has a total weight of 2,160 lbs. Ramps and shoring shall break down to fit in our box truck to ease transportation. Air Mobility Kit shall hold the weight of vehicles and provide enough approach angle to prevent vehicles scraping against the aircraft ramp, or the aircraft. Ramp kit must be able to support loading our longest vehicle which is 429” L x 102” W x 156” H and the gross weight of this vehicle is 30,940 lbs.
