About this file

This document is Addendum #1 for the Salida Oak Street Multi-Modal RMS Project (Construction Project Code No. 24848), issued by the City of Salida, Colorado. The addendum addresses nine specific questions and clarifications related to the project, including updates to traffic control flagging hours (increased to 1,640 total hours), confirmation of portable variable message sign panels, clarification on concrete pouring methods, and milestone completion details. The project involves reconstruction of Oak Street from Walnut Avenue to south of Illinois Avenue, including water services upgrades, storm sewer, sidewalk, and related improvements. The bid is due on April 29th, 2024, at 10:00 am, with a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting previously held on April 16th, 2024.

Key modifications include a revised Milestone 1 completion date of August 1st, with the Salida Fire Department installing an access apron and the contractor installing adjacent sidewalk. The addendum confirms no bid bond is required, verifies asphalt quantity calculations, notes utility sheet corrections, and indicates that water services and meters within the project boundary will be replaced with materials provided by the owner. The project appears to be funded through local municipal resources, with the City of Salida reserving the right to refuse any and all bids. Contractors can obtain contract documents through the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing website, with performance and payment bonds required at 100% of the bid amount.
