About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for temporary parking services required by the United States Coast Guard First District Sector Boston for the Sail 250 maritime event. The Department of Homeland Security is seeking up to 100 parking spaces to accommodate approximately 100 Coast Guard personnel and Coast Guard Auxiliary members participating in this major event commemorating the nation's 250th anniversary. The parking is required for a 12-day period from July 6, 2026 to July 17, 2026, with the possibility that the final number of spaces needed may change prior to the check-in date. The contractor must identify and secure parking locations within reasonable walking distance (1-2 miles) of 427 Commercial Street, Boston, MA 02109, where the event headquarters is located.
The SOW specifies critical safety and security requirements for the selected parking location. The contractor must ensure 24/7 assistance is available to address any safety or security issues and is strongly preferred to provide 24/7 security patrol of the parking premises. Any hazardous materials present at the location must be immediately reported to event members with appropriate safety protocols implemented. The Coast Guard will evaluate parking options based on reasonableness of location, compliance with requirements, and cost efficiency. All contractor submittals must be provided to the U.S. Coast Guard Contracting Officer in PDF or Word document format.
