About this file

This equipment list document, prepared for the Sacramento County Procurement Alliance (SCoPA) in conjunction with the County of Sacramento, itemizes crane and aerial lift assets across multiple County facilities as of September 24, 2020. The inventory includes over 100 mobile cranes and aerial lifts distributed among four primary locations: Bradshaw Light Equipment Shop, Bradshaw Heavy Equipment Shop, North Transfer Station Heavy Equipment Shop, and related facilities. Equipment encompasses various manufacturers and models including AutoCrane, JLG, Genie, IMT, Altec, Fassi, Venturo, and Challenger units, with capacities ranging from light-duty platforms to heavy-capacity lifts. The County also maintains four stationary facility cranes including Abell Howel Coffing, Kone bridge cranes (5-ton and 10-ton capacity), and Coffing equipment at various locations. This comprehensive equipment roster serves as the asset baseline for the County's Request for Bids to procure crane and aerial lift inspection, testing, certification, and training services to ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

The inspection and testing contract opportunity represents a one-year initial term with options to extend for up to four additional one-year increments, with the County of Sacramento as the lead procurement agency. As part of the SCoPA cooperative purchasing agreement, any selected bidder may provide services not only to Sacramento County but also to other participating governmental, educational, and non-profit entities, though cooperative use is not guaranteed. The RFB seeks to establish a single contractor relationship with no guaranteed purchasing volume, and services must be provided in accordance with the included Scope of Work and terms and conditions. Primary County end-users include the Fleet Services Division, Department of Airports, and Department of Water Resources, ensuring the equipment across all listed facilities is maintained in safe working order and regulatory compliance.
