QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

1) For an accurate semiannual inspections estimate for each UL space, can you provide the breakdown of sensors for each of the UL spaces separate from the general alarm spaces?

ANSWER: For security reasons we cannot divulge the actual location of sensors, however we can provide the approximate number of sensors to give you an estimate for the scope of work. The approximate number of sensors is 25 to 30 sensors.

2) We employ Secret cleared monitoring staff for UL2050 contracts. Is the social security numbers required for all the monitoring staff in our response? Per corporate policy, we do not provide sensitive information such as social security numbers. Will this be something that will disqualify our response?

ANSWER: If your company does not want to provide the Social Security Numbers of your employees for us to verify security clearances then the company must provide the government with a way to validate the security clearances in order to make an evaluation of acceptable or unacceptable.

3) Is annual training as mandated in Section 18.7 of the UL2050 to be included in our response pricing?

ANSWER: It is the company’s responsibility to ensure the annual training is conducted. The cost should be with the company and not the government.
