Joni Dorr Contracting Officer Questions for Solicitation 36C25225Q0030: Christmas Holiday Décor (537)
Will power sources for lighting be provided, or should the contractor plan for alternative options? Yes, there are existing power sources for the plug-in electrical lighting.
Who will be the point of contact at each site for questions or troubleshooting during installation? Jennifer Podpora and or Jonah Rivera will be the POC at Jesse Brown VA. There should be no questions/concerns at the CBOCs since the table-top decorations will just be placed on the reception desks at each CBOC location but if there is a concern, Jennifer and Jonah will be available by phone.
Are there any environmental considerations or policies to follow, especially regarding disposable decor materials? All electrical plug-in items must be UL certified. I am assuming all the remaining items will be reused so are not disposable.
What are the payment terms, and are there any specific invoicing requirements? Invoice in full after removal.
Are there penalties for delays in installation or removal, and if so, what are they? No penalties. The contractor must guarantee the items will be installed by the noted install date and removed by the removal date prior to signing the contract.
Will the contractor be responsible for ongoing maintenance during the rental period? Yes, if lights that are supposed to be functioning are not functioning, the contractor may need to come out to correct if JBVA cannot fix. Specifically outdoor lighting and the holiday tree.
What is the protocol if any decor item is damaged or malfunctions during the rental period? Only the electrical plug-in lighting is of concern and will need to be fixed or replaced if not functioning during the rental period.
