About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation containing questions and answers for a Homeless Continuity of Care (HCHV) with Respite Care Services contract in Dallas, Texas. The amendment clarifies the role and requirements of the Clinical Supervisor position, specifically noting that the clinical supervisor provides oversight and consultation for the Case Manager during urgent clinical issues or crisis interventions. The supervisor is not required to be on-site but must be on-call 24/7, and no clinical supervisor is needed if the case manager is already a Licensed Master Social Worker. The Performance Work Statement was updated to reflect these details, specifically modifying section 1.18 on Special Qualifications to include the new clinical supervisor description.

Questions and Answers – 36C25725Q0614 HCHV with Respite Care Services in Dallas TX.
Question 1: I have an important question regarding the Clinical Supervisor position. Currently, we have a Licensed Master of Social Work in this role, but the job description did not mention the roles and responsibilities as well as the weekly requirements. Could you please provide additional information regarding the responsibilities of the Social Worker in this position, including the number of hours for them to be onsite each week?
Answer 1: The clinical supervisor provides oversight and consultation for the Case Manager when urgent clinical issues arise, or crisis intervention is needed. The clinical supervisor is not required to be on site, but they must be on-call 24/7.
If the case manager is a Licensed Master Social Worker, a clinical supervisor is not required.
Performance Work Statement is updated to read as follows:

1.18 Special Qualifications:
b. Clinical Supervisor - licensed in the State of Texas with one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor, Licensed Master of Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
