Presolicitation Notice

Solicitation Number:

Presolicitation

Location:

Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Jimmy Carter Plant Materials Center (PMC) 295 Morris Drive, Americus, Georgia 31719.

Scope of Services Required:

The requirement is for designing, furnishing, and installing a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) capable of providing variable flow and variable pressure and a rain sensor capable of shutting off the system during rain events compatible with the existing 50 horsepower 3 phase electric submersible pump.

The Jimmy Carter PMC operates a lateral move overhead irrigation system equipped with hardware, software, and controls to apply water according to variable rate prescription. An existing well, GA groundwater permit A02-129-0439, provides the irrigation water on demand but lacks the ability to adjust flow rate.
