PRESOLICITATION NOTICE
This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation. The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System located at 11301 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA has a requirement to “Install Dedicated Fire Suppression Water Distribution System for North Campus, Lower Zone”. Work will be performed in a functioning hospital environment. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, training, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to accomplish the work. The work includes, but is not limited to general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary demolition and removal of existing structures and certain other items necessary for completion. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings (when available) of the solicitation and all applicable local and VA building codes.
This project will be procured as 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and must be listed as verified in the SBA VetCert database at https://www.sba.gov/vetcert. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a Size Standard of $45.0M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. The VA will issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) on or about March 24, 2023, via Contract Opportunities at https://sam.gov/. A site visit will be scheduled, and the date/time/location will be provided in the solicitation. The point of contact for this project is Steven J.
