This project includes constructing a new four-story building addition, south of Building 44 to house new mechanical and electrical equipment.

The primary objective of this project is to provide redundant capacity to the existing chilled and condenser water systems and their associated auxiliary systems. This includes adding a new water-cooled chiller, sized for 1,250 tons, on the second level of the building addition and installing a new two-cell cooling tower on the roof. Additionally, electrical gear supporting the new equipment will be located on the third level and the 4TH Level will be the house for an additional Electrical Generator under a separate project.
