About this file

This document is a Special Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Consolidated Mail-Out Pharmacy (CMOP) in Tucson, AZ. The VA intends to negotiate a contract with USVETSERV, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), for a specific mailing supply item. The sole source procurement is for Item No. 14124, a recyclable small shipping container box (11 1/2 x 10 x 6) made of kraft board, with specific requirements including weather-resistant adhesive, a tear-away zipper, and detailed packaging specifications. The government justifies the sole source award by stating that USVETSERV is the only responsible source that can meet their needs, and the contract will be awarded under FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B). Interested parties can contact the network contracting office via email to express their ability to provide similar products for future needs.
