About this file

This document is a contract clause titled "ATF-50 LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING UNDER SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDES" that specifies the requirements for contractors participating in small business set-aside contracts with the Department of Justice Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). It requires contractors to certify the level of subcontracting proposed prior to award, as well as the level of subcontracting actually achieved prior to exercising any option period. The required subcontracting levels vary based on the contract type, with at least 50% of service and supply contracts, 15% of general construction, and 25% of construction by special trade contractors to be performed by the prime contractor's own employees, excluding the cost of materials.

This clause is related to a solicitation (Solicitation Number: 15A00024R00000107) for a Credit Union Renovation project at the ATF Headquarters location. The objective is to renovate the old Credit Union space to be reutilized to best suit the mission of the ATF, as the Credit Union will be removing their banking equipment from the space.
