About this file
This document is a question and answer addendum for a Managed Care for Workers' Compensation solicitation (S000000390) from the Arkansas Department of Transformation and Shared Services. The document specifically addresses questions about pricing structure for peer review services in Table 3 of the price sheet.
The clarification explains that Table 3, Line 2 requires contractors to provide a flat rate for the first 50 pages of each Peer Review, with an estimated annual quantity of 50 Peer Reviews. Table 3, Line 3 requires pricing for additional pages beyond the first 50 pages, with an estimated 200 additional pages annually. The document provides an example where if a 50-page Peer Review costs $1.00, the total for 50 reviews would calculate to $50.00, and if additional pages cost $0.25 each, the 200 additional pages would total $50.00 annually.

Additional Question Price Sheet - Table 3 -
Peer Review
Are you looking for a price for 200 pages of additional medical reports, over the flat fee cost? For example if a flat Peer Review was $1.00 and each additional page over 200 was an additional $0.25, are we to put
$0.25 in the worksheet where it lists a quantity of 200? Or, are you looking for a flat rate up to 200 pages on 200 files?
For Table 3, Line 2, Peer Review - Flat Rate, we are requesting a flat rate for the first 50 pages for each Peer Review (at an estimated annual quantity of 50 Peer Reviews). For example, if the price for a 50 page Peer Review is $1.00, the Prospective Contractor would enter
$1.00 in Table 3, Line 2 and the total for 50 Peer Reviews will automatically calculate in Column D to be $50.00.
For Table 3, Line 3, Peer Review - Each additional page, we are requesting a price per page for pages in excess of the first 50 pages in the
Peer Review. Two hundred is the estimated quantity of additional pages per year. For example, if the price for one additional page in excess of 50 pages is $0.25 per page, the Prospective Contractor would put $0.25 in Table 3, Line 3, and the total for 200 additional pages annually will automatically calculate in Column D to be $50.00.
