About this file
This document is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Arkansas Department of Transformation and Shared Services Office of State Procurement (TSS OSP) for the Arkansas Department of Correction (DOC) to obtain pricing and a contract for Police Equipment and Supplies. The IFB lists 51 specific items, including various types of aerosol sprays, ammunition, and grenades, that the DOC requires for use in emergency and riot control situations, and in defense of inmates and DOC personnel. Bid responses must be submitted through the State's eProcurement system, ARBuy, by August 3, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Central Time. The initial contract term is one year, with the option to renew for up to six additional one-year terms, not to exceed a total of seven years.
The IFB specifies that award will be made to the lowest-bidding, responsible Prospective Contractor on an "all or none" basis with no substitutions. The State will not accept any exceptions to the Requirements outlined in the IFB. Pricing must be proposed in U.S. dollars and cents, and the Contractor shall deliver the ordered items to various DOC locations within 30 calendar days unless an alternate delivery date is approved. The IFB also includes provisions for potential price escalation and a "total satisfaction" return policy for all products.
