About this file

This document is a comprehensive Project Manual for the Cheyenne Depot Renovations project, prepared by TDSi - The Design Studio, Inc. for the City of Cheyenne, Wyoming. The project involves renovating the historic UP Depot building located at 121 West 15th Street, and includes selective demolition, site work, doors and frames, aluminum storefront, finishes, plumbing, electrical, and related work. The mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 31, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Cheyenne Depot, with bids due on August 19, 2024, at 2:00 pm. The project is anticipated to have a substantial completion date of March 31, 2025, with final completion due 30 days after substantial completion.

The project will be procured through a single prime contract based on the cost of the work plus a fee. The City of Cheyenne will separately contract for security systems, cameras, furniture, furnishings, audio-visual equipment, and merchandise shelving and displays. The project manual includes detailed specifications across multiple divisions, including architectural, mechanical, electrical, and civil work. The estimated budget is not explicitly stated, but the project includes a $50,000 force account amount. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, services, and equipment required for the renovation, with specific requirements for coordination, safety, waste management, and adherence to local building codes and standards.
