QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
TSR RU30JUN155841
Question #1: We are trying to provide a quote for Inside Wiring for the above TSR, however, there are some discrepancies in the TSR which need clarification.
• Section A - states 525thSIGCO personnel are responsible for extending the fiber from Bldg. 9301, Rm 2706 to Bldg. 9301, Rm. 1702.
• Section B - states Vendor is responsible from Bldg. 9301, Rm. 1702 to Bldg.
9301, Rm. 1702.
• Section E - states Vendor is responsible from Bldg. 9301, Rm. 2706 to Bldg.
9301, Rm. 2706
The question is, "Where is the vendor expected to extend the fiber"?
Answer: The vendor is responsible for a fiber jumper at the 3.A. location in room 2706. The Government is responsible for fiber from room 2706 to 1702. The Demarc is in room 1702, so vendor is responsible for fiber between the commercial point of presence and the site provided patch panel.
At the Tampa end at the 3.C. location, (CC2), the vendor is responsible for the connection from the commercial Point of Presence and the site provided patch panel.
