About this file
This document is an Addendum to RFSQ #2324-026 issued by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) in the state of Florida. The RFSQ is seeking qualifications from licensed architectural and engineering firms to perform various services on APD projects as needed, including architectural services, engineering services, construction design, drafting bid specifications, project management, and general construction management. The RFSQ provides questions and answers related to the requirements, including clarification on bond requirements, indemnification provisions, and the contract structure. The contract opportunity covers projects in Leon County and Tampa City.
The document addresses several vendor questions, including clarification that the bond requirement applies to A&E firm respondents, modifications to the indemnification and duty to defend provisions to comply with Florida Statute 725.08, and confirmation that the final contract will be drafted once a vendor is selected, despite the sample contract included being specific to a construction manager.
