About this file
This is Amendment No. 1 to a Request for Submittal (RFS No. 200407-IM) issued by Palm Beach County Purchasing Department on October 27, 2020, for the development of an Indirect Cost Allocation Plan and Indirect Cost Rate Proposal. The solicitation seeks qualified respondents to develop the County's cost allocation plan, with submissions due by November 9, 2020. The scope of work involves establishing indirect cost allocation methodologies and preparing an indirect cost rate proposal, with a final deliverable deadline of May 15th aligned with the County's budget calendar. No selection committee has been established for this procurement; evaluation will be conducted by Robyn Lawrence, Assistant Director of Budget, from the Office of Financial Management and Budget.
The anticipated budget for the project is $49,500, though respondents are instructed to submit competitive pricing rather than use this amount as a ceiling. The incumbent contractor is ML Weekes & Company, PC, whose previous contract was valued at $46,500. The most recent indirect cost rate agreement was negotiated with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Small/Minority/Women Business Enterprise (S/M/WBE) utilization is not a mandatory requirement; however, an SBE Evaluation Preference applies to contracts under $500,000, and respondents seeking this preference must be certified by the Palm Beach County Office of Equal Business Opportunity. All amendments must be acknowledged in writing and submitted with the response, or the submittal will be deemed non-responsive.
