Questions and Answers 05/26/2016 RFQP02161600002 FCI Elkton, Ohio
1. Are you requesting general and vascular ultrasound services as well as echocardiology procedures?
yes, we utilize ALL three, general/vascular/echos
2. On your pricing under Cardiac Stress Testing Services, you indicate 2 methods to increase the heart rate "1.) Adenosine and 3.) Treadmill." Since both create the same purpose by elevating the heart rate and have the same effect, can we provide the Adenosine Stress Test instead of the Treadmill Stress Test? We ask this due to the fact that Adenosine Stress Tests are the community method of choice versus the Treadmill Stress Tests.
We do actually still need to have two options for the stress testing.
Adenosine(more commonly Lexiscan now) actually dilates not necessarily elevating heart rates. Actual stress testing is the most accurate for elevation of heart rate.
3. To clarify, we will be providing 32 nuclear cardiac stress tests utilizing Cardiolite and will be providing 56 cardiac stress tests without the nuclear component. Please understand that any nuclear cardiac stress testing must include Adenosine and Cardiolite.
32 cardiolite 56 adensosine/lexiscan All have a nuclear component
