MOBILE MRI RFP Questions and Responses
You are asking for 2 weeks of applications training for your staff. This will be very expensive per day including daily per diem lodging, etc. Most facilities ask for 5 days or less. We generally recommend 3 days at start up and then a return visit 2 weeks later for another two days to answer questions and train. For 2 weeks, the approximate cost would be expensive. Are you sure you need 10 days?
We are requesting 2 weeks of applications training. This can be provided through many ways.
At termination of use of the MRI system, will you require removal of the hard drives on the MRI system or may all patient data be removed and the hard drives remain with the MRI system?
We have a cost involved in removing the hard drives on the MRI system both in labor and parts cost.
All patient and facility information must be removed prior to the removal of the equipemtn at the end of the contract. As long as the hard drives are wiped clean they do not need to be removed.

Can the agency confirm if the Medical Physicist needs to be identified in the proposal and if proof of their certification needs to be included at the time of submission? Due to the time needed to conduct a physicist inspection, is it sufficient to provide this information post-award?
