Q4: Regarding the Radiology Statistics by Fiscal Year, for 2016 can you provide a per category (X- Ray,CT,US,MRI) breakdown listing how many emergent reads were requested during non-business hours (5P-7A)?
A4: No
Q5: Section C, Page 4, Item 7 - Monthly Continuing Medical Education – Do we have the flexibility to schedule the CME class adjacent to a clinic day to avoid additional travel expenditures?
A5: Yes
Q6: Section C, page 5, Radiology History – It is stated that there is no known record of anticipated historical reads for the area. With that said, what are these volumes based on?
A6: The statement about there being no known records was an oversight. The volumes listed are actual usage.
Q7: Section C, Page 8, Paragraph 2 – Onsite Consultations – Consultations for patient cases are stated as when needed or requested. Are the consultations scheduled on clinic day only? Does this mean our onsite radiologist must be on call? Can the consultations be conducted by phone?
A7: No, radiologists are not on-call for consultations. Consultations would be via phone in most cases, unless you were requested to speak at a medical staff meeting.
Q8: Section H, Page 12 – It is stated that Contractor shall have their credentials available for review. We are a Joint Commission accredited organization. Will Indian Health Services allow us to credential by Proxy?
A8: Unknown at this time. Will provide further information to awardee
Q9: Clauses Incorporated by Full Text – 52.212-2 – Factor 2 – Do you have a Past Performance Form that must be submitted by our reference directly to Contract Specialist? Or do we just list similar contract information with contact information?
A9: You can list similar information with applicable contact information.
Q10: Who is the incumbent contractor?
A10: The incumbent contractor is White Mountain Radiology.
Q11: Pricing Schedule – Radiology Statistics were provided in Section C, Paragraph 9 for X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound and MRI. The Pricing Schedule does not have MRI listed under Teleradiology Interpretation Services. Will MRI interpretations be required? Because there is no historical read data for this area, would you consider a Pricing Schedule that is based on a fee per modality rather than a fixed Monthly rate? The onsite portion will then be priced per diem.
A11: Yes, MRI studies are to be read by monthly rate. MRI stats for:
2012 2013 2014 2015 2016
MRI 502 455 464 500 732
Q12: How will the contractor be notified of sense of urgency/ stat vs. routine?
A12: Currently we use the system provided by the contractor. Within that system there has been a place to mark the status “routine or stat”.
Q13: How many stat cases have you had during previous contract?

A15: Unknown.
Q16: Are you looking for multiple providers? Besides the clinic per week can all other duties be performed remotely with no other call in?
