About this file
This document is a Justification for Limited Source Justification (LSJ) under Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 8.4. The Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC), Department of Defense (DOD), Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Acquisition Directorate (AD), has a requirement to procure Harris Portable Radios and Accessories. A firm fixed price order is being sought with an anticipated 60-120 day delivery after contract award. The purpose is to procure specific Harris radio models, batteries, antennas, chargers, and other accessories. The Contracting Officer determined this represents the best value to the Government as it will maintain consistency with the existing Harris radios, reduce costs, and leverage the Government's existing repair capability and inventory. The requirement will be procured through authorized GSA Schedule vendors. No significant barriers to competition were identified.
