About this file

This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) for the replacement of an existing wood boiler at the Zaleski ODNR Complex located in McArthur, Ohio. The project involves furnishing and installing a new wood boiler that meets the minimum specifications provided, including a 320-gallon water capacity, 48-inch minimum firebox length, 8,000 to 10,000 square foot heating capacity, and other requirements. The installation must be completed by November 30, 2024, and vendors are responsible for removing the old unit, supplying all materials and tools, and obtaining any necessary permits. Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the site prior to submitting a bid, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

The RFQ outlines the invoicing and payment requirements, including the need to submit invoices directly to Ohio Shared Services. Vendors must provide two examples of similar completed projects and participate in a pre-award meeting with ODNR staff to ensure mutual understanding of the materials and scope. The contract will be awarded based on the low lot total, calculated by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage and adding the totals for all items.
