Configuration Services:
Objective: End product needs to be a cellular base kit that is easy to deploy, setup, use by our standard office worker, pack up and redeploy back to home office with little to no training needed during emergencies.
What’s required: All the required Microsoft software should be loaded and operational on the associated system tablet or laptop. A virus protection software should be loaded on the device and a VPN software should be loaded on the laptop to add extra protection for our devices and users.
Tablet or laptop should be already connected to the associated system via the wireless router to allow access to the internet. The wireless router name and password should be label inside the case cover so that other users can access the wireless data services quickly in times of emergencies.
All associated administrator accounts for the different devices should be listed in a file and handed to the Deputy J6 for safe keeping and for later access to make changes after the warranty is up.
All items being procured should be set-up to have service from Both AT&T FirstNet and from Verizon. The dual SIM router should be setup, programmed and working to allow First Net and
Verizon SIMS for accessing those cellular services. The router should be able to run on both the two listed cellular companies upon delivery. External antennas, associated RF cabling with stands should be in a separate carrying case should they be need to be deployed in a field environment where there’s weak cellular signals.
The associated VoIP set needs to operator off the POE wired switch. The VoIP set needs to work through the system router off both the FirstNet Cellular services and the Verizon Cellular services. The VoIP set will require its own business number and its own third party cloud service provider to operate independently providing our users a fixed number at all times. The third party VoIP set service provider needs to work through both AT&T FirstNet and Verizon. That way if one cellular carrier goes out or isn’t available in one area of the state the VoIP service will still work through the other carrier. The VoIP set should be fully operational before delivery. The number and third party information should be deliver to the Deputy J6 in a file upon receipt of equipment.
Final LIVE Testing Requirement:
Vendor needs to demonstrate that the UPS system will support the entire system for 2 hours without external power via live remote video feed or via a taped video off say YouTube with an external clock showing that the systems remains functioning throughout the two hours of loss power. Basically the VoIP set needs to make a call before, during the outage at 30 minutes, one hour, one hour and 30 minutes and at the two hour mark to end the test. Tablet or laptop should be able to access the internet, pull YouTube videos and pull up office products throughout the power outage right after each phone call.
All configurations of devices / setups, administration logons and passwords, manuals, warranties spelled out, support phone numbers and software licenses should be in a file and given to the Deputy J6 upon delivery of kits.
