The contract term is for 9 months, effective November 13, 2023 through June 30, 2024, with an option to renew annually for up to four additional years. The City is seeking proposals from licensed veterinarians to provide a range of services including vaccines, deworming, exams, treatments, and euthanasia for dogs and cats at the animal shelter. Bidders are required to provide pricing for these services, as well as for spay and neuter procedures for dogs and cats of varying ages and weights. The RFQ specifies that the number and type of services needed will vary monthly, and bidders are encouraged to list any additional services they can offer and any discounts available for multiple animals receiving services at once. Pricing proposed must remain firm for the contract period. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received.
