About this file

The document is an Addendum No. 1 to a Request for Quote (RFQ) 24-0172957 issued by the California Department of Technology (CDT) for a Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) Battery String Replacement project at the Gold Camp Data Center. The mandatory pre-proposal walkthrough is scheduled for April 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM PT in Rancho Cordova, CA, with contractors required to check in at the Security Desk. Key action dates include the RFQ release on 4/22/2025, final bid submissions on 5/8/2025, evaluations on 5/13/2025, and a proposed contract execution date of 5/30/2025. Contractors must submit attendance names to Jason Lu by April 28, 2025, at 10:00 PM PT, and those who do not attend the mandatory walkthrough will not have their bids evaluated.

The project aims to replace battery strings for UPS systems that are approaching their normal end-of-life, with the goal of facilitating battery replacement prior to potential failure. The RFQ specifies that an authorized representative may attend on behalf of a potential contractor, with the representative limited to signing in for only one company. Accommodations for physical impairments will be provided upon request, with contractors needing to contact Jason Lu at least one day prior to the walkthrough. The document emphasizes that no verbal information will be binding unless issued in writing as an official addendum, and specific questions during the walkthrough should be limited to the work site.
