About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) response form for Request for Qualifications (RFQ) REDM2425-04 issued by the Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) for Architectural-Engineering Services in the Central Region. The RFQ seeks qualified firms to provide professional design services for small-scale projects, with all anticipated construction values being less than $7.5 million. No specific project list or Capital Improvement Plan was shared, and engagement of firms will be at the discretion of the DMS Project Manager based on project needs. The document indicates that firms should demonstrate their internal capabilities and potential subcontracting strategies, covering services such as architecture, interiors, mechanical/electrical/plumbing/structural engineering, and potentially additional disciplines like landscape architecture, civil engineering, and environmental engineering.
The Q&A responses clarify that there are no predetermined financial thresholds for task orders, and work distribution will be managed flexibly by the DMS Project Manager. Firms are advised to review Section 14 of the RFQ for evaluation criteria, which will be used to assess submissions. The updated Federal GSA Standard Form 330 (Rev. 7/2021) is acceptable for submission, and firms must provide a list of relevant project experiences. While specific MWBE (Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprise) or DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) participation goals were not explicitly detailed, interested parties are directed to the Architect-Engineer's Agreement in Section 14 of the RFQ for further guidance. No pre-submittal meeting will be held, and firms are expected to carefully review all requirements before submitting their qualifications.
