About this file
This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) for a 17-21ft Rigid Inflatable Boat, including an outboard engine and trailer, to be used for motorboat training courses. WDFW is seeking bids for one unit, with a required delivery date by the end of business on March 31, 2024. Vendors must submit their quotes by February 7, 2024, at 4:00 PM. WDFW will pick up the vessel if it is located within Washington state; otherwise, the vendor must provide the cost of delivery to the Olympia, WA address. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder who is a small business or veteran-owned business, unless none qualify.
The RFQ provides detailed specifications for the boat, engine, and trailer, including structural, mechanical, and auxiliary requirements. Pricing sheets are included for the vendor to fill out. WDFW will process payment to the awarded vendor upon satisfactory receipt of the goods. All title and licensing will be handled by WDFW, and the vendor must provide the necessary paperwork. The State of Washington is attempting to minimize the use of products with polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in its procurement, so the RFQ requests that any packaging be without color or dyes.
