The request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-26-Q-0195.
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order for the following Narda Miteq items on a Sole Source basis, no substitutions allowed. These parts are proprietary to Narda Miteq and they are the only parts that have been tested and proved to be Fleet ready. They are used as part of the Government’s current infrastructure and are the only ones capable of performing in various required environments. These items have been fully integrated into the assemblies and into critical designs and other ancillary system components. An alternate would require the Navy to develop other calibration procedures, which would cause unacceptable cost and schedule delays; therefore, it is in the Government’s best interest to award on a Brand Name Only basis.
This requirement is solicited as unrestricted as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334419 – “Other Electronic Component Manufacturing.” The Small Business Size Standard is 750 Employees. The PSC code is 6130.
This solicitation is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Quotes received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
