About this file
Summary of RFQ for Forestry Uniforms, Spring 2026
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Resources (DCR) for the procurement of uniforms for its Forestry division in 2026. The RFQ seeks quotations for a comprehensive range of forestry uniforms and related apparel items designed to meet the operational needs of DCR forestry personnel. The procurement includes various uniform components such as shirts, pants, jackets, hats, and other protective or standard-issue clothing items in multiple sizes and quantities to outfit the forestry workforce. Specific response deadlines, submission procedures, and evaluation criteria are outlined to guide potential vendors in preparing their quotations. The contract term and any renewal options would be established upon award, with pricing and delivery schedules subject to negotiation based on submitted quotations.
The RFQ establishes pricing terms whereby vendors submit competitive quotations for the specified uniform items, with pricing expected to reflect volume discounts for the quantities ordered. Any set-asides for minority-owned, women-owned, or other designated business categories may apply in accordance with Massachusetts procurement regulations. The procurement reflects DCR's need to maintain adequate inventory and replace worn or damaged uniforms for its forestry personnel, supporting operational readiness and professional appearance standards. Funding for this procurement is sourced through DCR's operational budget allocation for equipment and supplies. Vendors are expected to provide detailed pricing, delivery timelines, and any volume-based discounts in their quotation submissions to facilitate comparative evaluation.
