About this file
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for projector installation services issued by METC (Metropolitan Educational Training Consortium) in Texas. The project involves the uninstallation of approximately 100 existing Panasonic projectors and installation of new Christie projectors across identified classrooms within METC facilities. The Christie projectors are already in METC's inventory and provided as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). Installation will utilize existing cable runs and mounting infrastructure, eliminating the need for additional cable installation. The scope of work includes unboxing, installing, mounting, aligning, and testing projectors to ensure proper viewing, functionality, and integration with the current system. Programming will be required to enable the new Christie projectors to communicate and function correctly with existing systems. The contractor must also remove and discard all trash and debris generated during unboxing and installation. Vendors are expected to have the flexibility to work nights and weekends to complete the installation.
This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside classified under NAICS code 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors). The RFQ solicits quotations from qualified small businesses capable of performing the projector replacement work. No specific response deadline, award date, or contract term details are provided in the available information. Pricing terms, evaluation criteria, and submission requirements would be detailed in the complete RFQ document.
