17. Hydraulic Modeling If Consultants indicated they have hydraulic modeling experience/expertise, some of the selected consultants may be requested to provide hydraulic modeling services. A detailed scope of work will be provided to the selected consultants. The following is a list of tasks that may be included in the detailed scope of work:
a. Incorporation of InfoWorks ICM Wastewater (WW) System Model with WW Treatment Plant Model with into a single network model. Review combined WW System and WW Treatment Plant model to determine hydraulic capacities in collections system and treatment plants.
b. Review existing WW model and observed sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs) to add pipe network in specific areas of the model.
c. Conduct dry and wet weather flow monitoring, rainfall monitoring, and inflow / infiltration (I / I) analysis for specified locations.
d. Calibrate updated WW model for existing dry and wet weather conditions.
e. Conduct existing system performance with updated WW model and identify system deficiencies. Conduct rainfall sensitivity analysis.
f. Update future population and employment data used to calculate flows for future scenarios in the WW model.
g. Develop remedial measures for SSOs and identify near-term and long-term projects that provide the greatest cost-benefit ratio.
