About this file
This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for concrete pad installation at Caesar Creek State Park. The project involves creating concrete pads for picnic tables (4 pads at 7'x10'), benches (9 pads at 3'x6'), water fountains (3 pads totaling approximately 118 square feet), and sally port entry/exit areas (2 pads totaling 260 square feet) for a new dog park that will serve as a memorial for fallen K-9 Officer Jason Lagore. The project requires precise specifications including a minimum 3-inch gravel base, 3000 psi concrete mix, wire mesh reinforcement, and slight drainage slope. Bidders are encouraged to conduct a site visit with Park Manager Tiffany DeChant-Hunt before submitting a quote, and the project is to be completed by the end of June 2025.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with invoicing to be submitted directly to Ohio Shared Services via email, fax, or mail. Invoices must include specific details such as the Purchase Order number, supplier information, service dates, itemized charges, and comply with state invoicing requirements. No state sales tax will be applied, and the DNR will evaluate bids on a line-item basis. The project appears to be funded through state park infrastructure improvement budgets, with a focus on creating a functional and memorial-oriented dog park facility that meets specific construction and accessibility standards.
