Statement of Work Procure Storage System, X67
1. General
a. This statement of work describes the minimum requirements for the procurement of one set of Storage System.
b.The equipment shall be one of the manufacturer's current production models which, on the date this solicitation is issued, has been designed, engineered and sold, or is being offered for sale through advertisements or manufacturer's published catalogs or brochures. Minor alternations to current production models to meet specifications listed are acceptable.
Documentation illustrating ALL alternations to current production models must be provided with the contractor’s proposal. Products such as a prototype unit, reproduction model, or experimental units do not qualify as meeting these requirements. And all material used in the construction shall be new.
c. Following floor space and utilities will be available for this equipment.
(1) Floor space: 43 × 2 m
(2) Power source: 105VAC
(3) Wireless devices are prohibited.
d.This contract is to include installation, operational test, and operation/maintenance training for equipment as specified. Unless otherwise specified herein, the contractor shall provide all materials, transportation, unloading service, and labor for this contract. All work including installation and training in Government facilities shall be performed during the hours of 8:00 am to 4:45 pm (excluding 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm), Monday through Friday (excluding Federal Holidays).

3. Specifications
This Storage System shall consist of two (2) storage racks and four (4) lifters.
3-1. Minimum requirements 3-1-1. Storage rack

4. Document submission The contractor shall submit the documents listed in Submittals to the Technical Point of
Contact (TPOC) by the deadline. Government will accept or return with comments within ten
(10) working days after receiving from the contractor. The contractor shall not proceed the work before Government approval.
5. Installation
a. The contractor shall provide any equipment except crane with labor for unloading as necessary. Government will provide crane service for unloading and lifting up to mezzanine.
b. The contractor shall set and adjust the equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s instruction at the Bldg.2068 mezzanine, SRF-JRMC Yokosuka.
c. Be staffed by at least one (1) supervisor on site.
6. Acceptance test (after installation) The acceptance test shall be conducted by the contractor to ensure the equipment functions properly at the delivery site, SRF-JRMC, Yokosuka. The acceptance test will be witnessed by Government Contracting Office representatives. This testing will be scheduled at least ten (10) working days in advance through the Government Contracting Office. Government will provide the materials for the test.
7. Training The contractor shall provide operational and maintenance training in Japanese for equipment operators and maintenance personnel at the SRF-JRMC, Yokosuka work site. All printed training aids shall be supplied at no additional cost to the Government and be in the Japanese language.
8. General Safety All machine parts, components, mechanisms, and assemblies furnished on the unit shall comply with all specific requirements of OSHA Safety and Health Standard (29CFR1910), General Industry. (Reference (1)) After January 2, 1990, whenever replacement or major repair, renovation or modification of a machine or equipment is performed, and whenever new machines or equipment are installed, energy isolating devices for such machine or equipment shall be designed to accept a lockout device. (Reference (2))
