Summary of RFQ 435527 Technical Specifications
This technical specifications document pertains to a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the City of Oakland Department of Public Works, Bureau of Environment, Keep Oakland Clean & Beautiful (KOCB) Division in California. The solicitation seeks exterior-grade paints and related materials to support abatement activities on high-visibility corridors, public buildings and facilities, parks, and recurring hotspot locations throughout Oakland. The contract is structured as a base period of three years with two optional one-year renewal periods. Questions regarding the RFQ must be submitted by Monday, October 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM via email to the Procurement Buyer, with the contractor bearing responsibility for confirming receipt. Any materially significant addenda will be issued no fewer than 72 hours before the proposal deadline unless the deadline itself is extended.
Award will be made to a single vendor determined to submit the lowest, most responsive, and responsible bid. The contract represents a supply agreement for the City's daily operational needs rather than a project-based engagement. Pricing terms and specific product quantities are not detailed in the overview materials provided, and no set-asides, incumbent information, or specific funding sources are identified in this summary documentation. Interested vendors should ensure receipt of all RFQ documents and follow all instructions contained within the solicitation materials when preparing their bid submissions.
