Revalia LX3 LED QVUE 175 Ophthalmic Microscope, to be purchased for the Operating

Room. The microscope advances visualization with personalized illumination, giving the surgeon confidence throughout the procedure. Personalized illumination gives control of the surgical view, advanced visualization offers 6x larger, more stable red reflex and enhanced depth of field. Complete surgical integration connects LuxOR Revalia to advanced Alcon technologies

Scope of Work:

The current model microscope is reaching the end of life usage and requires replacement. The LuxOR Revalia Ophthalmic Microscope features unique technologies designed to optimize both anterior and posterior procedures, providing superior visualization1for every type of ophthalmic surgery. As with all ophthalmic microscopes, exposure during aphakia should be limited to reduce the risk of damage. During aphakia, limit exposure to red reflex light to no more than 7 minutes.

Salient Characteristics of the LuxOR Revalia LX3 LED QVUE 175:

• Personalized illumination puts you in control of your surgical view.

• Advanced visualization offers 6x larger, more stable red reflex and enhanced depth of field

• Complete surgical integration connects LuxOR Revalia to advanced Alcon technologies

• Unique illumination technology: The LuxOR Revalia Ophthalmic Microscope provides surgeon-preferred red reflex and enhanced depth of field to ensure crisp, confident visualization throughout every procedure.

• Adjust the blend of coaxial and oblique light sources to take complete control of your view:

1. Coaxial light positioned 0° from the origin of light, which allows for optimized red reflex.

2. Oblique light positioned 8° from the origin of light, with the ability to customize intensity or turn it off completely.

3. Personalized blend customize your preferred illumination and save up to 3 presets to your surgeon profile.

• Anterior Segment Procedures:

1. Expand visibility with a 6x-larger red reflex zone for a clear view of the anterior segment .

2. Centurion Vision System integration enables overlays via the workstation external display.

3. Integration with Alcon advanced technology diagnostics provides real-time surgical guidance through your ocular and records all of your cases without the need for external monitors or additional equipment.

• Posterior Segment Procedures:

1. Support visualization of the retina and other posterior anatomical features with the OCULUS BIOM, controlled via the LuxOR Revalia foot pedal.

2. Proprietary AMP technology removes the beam splitter from the optical path, providing 100% retro illumination for increased confidence.

Additional Information:

The LuxOR Revalia Ophthalmic Microscope is the only microscope that will integrate with the current Alcon equipment currently used in the operating room at the facility, as well as integrate and function with the current Alcon Centurion unit in use currently.

Installation:

Contractor shall provide installation services for this procurement. Contractor shall install all applicable software and configure all connections on the equipment.

Contractor shall perform a full functionality test on the equipment to ensure that the equipment is operating properly and in perfect working order. Contractor shall provide

Allentown VA Medical Centers during the warranty period.

Delivery:

The LuxOR Revalia LX3 LED QVUE 175 Ophthalmic Microscope and accessories shall be delivered to the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center. Biomedical Engineering will need to perform a safety check and enter the equipment into the system for annual

Preventive Maintenance (PM) checks.
