About this file
This document is an attachment to an RFQ (Request for Quotation) issued by the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) for a salt brine production system. ITD is seeking quotes from qualified vendors for the purchase and delivery of a salt brine production system that meets the detailed specifications provided, including requirements for the brine production unit, storage tank, and associated components. The system must be warranted for a minimum of one year labor and two years for parts, with delivery desired within 60-80 days of the order. Vendors must submit the required pricing sheet, signature page, and product documentation demonstrating compliance with the specifications. ITD will award the contract to the responsive and responsible vendor with the lowest cost.
The RFQ specifies single-phase power requirements, minimum touch screen size, and detailed technical specifications for the brine production unit and storage tank. Vendors offering an "equal" product must provide documentation demonstrating that their offering meets the requirements. ITD reserves the right to seek clarification from vendors and to take remedial action, including termination of the contract, if the delivered system does not comply with the specifications. Invoicing will be accepted only upon ITD's written acceptance of the delivered system.
