About this file
This document is a Notice of Intent to Award issued by the Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) Procurement Division for Request for Quotation (RFQ) 25-043-JG concerning a 15KV Vacuum Circuit Breaker. The notice indicates KUA intends to award the contract to Siemens Industry, Inc., with the award subject to final approval by the KUA Board of Directors. The document is dated June 12, 2025, and serves as a preliminary notification of contract award, emphasizing that this notice does not constitute a formal contract and that the successful bidder will not acquire legal rights until a fully executed contract or purchase order is completed.
The notice includes provisions for potential contract modifications, including KUA's right to revoke the award if the apparent successful bidder fails to negotiate or execute the contract. Additionally, the document outlines a protest procedure, allowing any adversely affected party to file a written notice of protest with the Vice President of Finance and Administration within 72 hours (excluding weekends and legal holidays) after the posting of the decision. The document maintains KUA's flexibility in the procurement process, reserving the right to cancel the Notice of Intent to Award, reject all bids, or re-solicit at a later time.
