A14. While the Department of Education (DOE) provides written standards for Kindergarten, Pre-K standards may not be explicitly outlined at the federal level.
However, many states or local education authorities offer specific early learning guidelines or standards for Pre-K. These standards typically focus on preparing children for Kindergarten by developing foundational skills in language, literacy, math, social-emotional development, and more. If firms are designing programs or services for Pre-K, they should align their work with local or state early childhood education standards rather than Kindergarten standards.
Q15. What age groups and/or grade levels will the facility serve?
A15. Birth - PreKindergarten
