About this file

This document is a set of Questions and Answers for RFQ-2024-IDR6-008 (Event ID 0000032388), a state and local contract opportunity issued by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) for the procurement of gravel to be delivered to the Imperial Wildlife Area in Niland, California. The RFQ requests granite gravel, with a preference for clean rock. CDFW is willing to extend the delivery timeline from 7 days to 10 days after receipt of order to accommodate the large volume. This appears to be a new procurement, as CDFW has not previously purchased gravel for this specific location, though other departments within the State of California have purchased "Class 2 gravel" in the past, and those past purchases can be viewed through the State Contract & Procurement Registration System.

Regarding pricing, CDFW has not provided any information about a budget or funding source for this procurement. There is also no mention of any set-asides, incumbent vendors, or the current pricing environment. The RFQ does not contain any additional details about the evaluation criteria, award process, or contract term and renewal options.
