About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) for the procurement of one (1) PAK System Continuous Manufacturing Instrument.

CDER requires this bench-scale instrument to support an automated, synchronous purification process in the continuous manufacturing of a model therapeutic protein drug product. The instrument must be capable of interacting with CDER's existing pilot-scale PAK System instrument to operate end-to-end continuously, with automated controls for simultaneous operation of purification steps and feedback control through PAT instrumentation. The RFQ specifies the required instrument capabilities, deliverables, installation, training, warranty, and optional preventative maintenance. Quotes are due by June 17, 2024 and will be evaluated on a lowest price, technically acceptable basis. This is a 100% small business set-aside procurement. The period of performance is 12 months with four 12-month option periods for the preventative maintenance service contract.
