SECTION IV - SELECTION PROCESS AND EVALUATION CRITERIA

The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County intends to evaluate proposals and award a contract after conducting discussions with offerors whose proposals have been determined to be within the competitive range.

If it is determined that the number of proposals that would otherwise be in the competitive range exceeds the number at which an efficient competition can be conducted, the Unified Government may limit the number of proposals in the competitive range to the greatest number that will permit an efficient competition among the most highly rated proposals. Therefore, the offeror's initial proposal should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

Evaluation criteria to be used in determining the selected firm in order of importance are:

1. CONTRACT PRICING Price Proposal Sheet submitted as a separate sealed envelope for evaluation. 25 points per scorer

2. RESPONSE TIME detailing time to mobilize for emergency repairs. 20 points per scorer.

3. UNDERSTANDING OF THE REQUIREMENT and the ability to meet the contract requirements.

20 points per scorer

4. FIRM EXPERIENCE in providing services to public sector organizations. 10 points per scorer.

5. QUALIFICATIONS of staff assigned to the contracts. 10 points per scorer.

6. CONTRACTOR FURNISHED EQUIPMENT including adequacy and relevancy for the performance of the requirements of the contract. 10 points per scorer.
