About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document related to Request for Proposal (RFP) 240000001067 for Parenting Time (Visitation) Support Services in Saginaw County, Michigan. The RFP seeks to procure a provider for supervised visitation services that promote healthy relationships between parents and their children. The document provides responses to three questions submitted by potential bidders, covering topics such as the volume of eligible clients, the referral process, and transportation reimbursement. While the RFP does not specify a defined number of eligible clients, it requires bidders to propose the amount of clients that could be served and the number of units to be provided. The referral process involves the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) local office making referrals to the selected contractor, who will then respond via email to accept or decline the referral. The RFP allocates $54,000 ($18,000 each fiscal year) for transportation costs, which should be considered actual cost components and not included in the proposed unit rate.
The RFP is issued by the State of Michigan and is focused on Saginaw County, with the potential to expand to St. Louis City as well. The contract term and any renewal options are not specified in the provided information.
