About this file
This is a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the City of Kissimmee, Florida for concession services and food service operations at Big Toho Marina within Kissimmee Lakefront Park. The RFP seeks a qualified firm to maintain food service and bait shop operations at the marina facility to provide amenities to citizens and visitors. The City intends to enter into a Concession License Agreement with the selected vendor. The RFP document outlines the operational requirements, facility specifications, and terms under which the concessionaire will operate these services. While specific response dates and bidder meetings are referenced in the RFP structure, the proposal submission deadline and any mandatory pre-bid conference dates should be confirmed within the complete RFP documentation. The contract term and any renewal options are to be negotiated as part of the Concession License Agreement.
Pricing terms, financial requirements, and operational fee structures for the food service and bait shop concession are detailed within the RFP specifications. The selected concessionaire will be responsible for all operational costs, staffing, inventory management, and maintenance of the facility in accordance with the City's standards and requirements. Financial qualifications, insurance requirements, and any performance bonds or deposits required from applicants should be verified in the complete proposal documents. The incumbent operator's status and current operational performance may be relevant to the evaluation process. Funding for this concession operation is self-supporting through revenue generated by the food service and bait shop operations rather than direct municipal appropriation.
